Zusammenfassung:	The detector has a radiating element (2) connected to the transmitting and receiving unit (20), designed for microwaves, together with an essentially gap type opening (34,35) preferred in the region of the door edge, in the wall (32) of the case or container (30). Alternatively one of two gap-type openings in a T-shaped butting region, preferably in the floor or roof side end of the door edge, if near to this, to form a complete, especially a slot type aerial. The gap type opening and the radiating element extend parallel to each other, at least sectionally. The radiating element is designed as a flat coupling element, or bent in a L shape and sealed to the wall (6). The radiating element can be designed essentially as a punctiform element.
