Zusammenfassung:	A static converter arrangement with two pulse-controlled AC converters (6,8) which include a feed circuit (10,12), a voltage link (2,4) equipped with a capacitor bank (Czk1,Czk2)and a pulse-controlled inverter(14,16). The + and - pole of the two voltage links (2,4) are electrically connected to one another via connection line (26,28) provided with a switch (22,24). Between the + pole of one (2) of the voltage links (2,4) and the - pole of the other voltage link (4) is arranged a protection-, monitoring- and safety (security) device (32).
