Zusammenfassung:Continuous centrifuge which extracts sugar comprises a conically-enlarging drum (2) running on an upright axis, and a slot (3) spinning off the sugar, from which sugar particles are thrown into a settling space (6). An air-directing device (1) transfers moist air from the drum interior (21, 22) to a collection space (5). In the novel design, a pressure equalisation system (7) connects the collection space (5) to the region near the axis in the drum interior (21).
