Zusammenfassung:The system identifies objects (1) moving with their associated data carriers (2). The objects move through a spatially bounded write/read window (3) in the microwave field (9) of a circularly polarised antenna (6). The antenna is connected to a transceiver (5) with a data line (8) to a computer-aided evaluation unit (7). This initiates an unaddressed interrogation of carriers moving in a particular direction (4). The response from the "strongest" carrier is memorised. Its transmitter is muted for a predetermined time while the next strongest is interrogated. The cycle is repeated until all carriers are identified.
