Sewing machine fabric edge guide mechanism

The mechanism to guide the edge of the workpiece fabric, at an industrial sewing machine, has air jets to move the material with guide pins, in a sewing machine with systems for automatic stitching of different material thicknesses and various outer contour shapes. At least one of the guide pins (14,16) has movement on the base plate (1) across the stitching direction, as a limit stop. An adjustment mechanism (57) at the base plate (1), preferably with a pneumatic cylinder (24), gives a sliding movement to set different radii (R). For automatic setting for various material thicknesses, the limit stops (7,8) are positioned at the sleeve (3). The limit (7) at the sleeve, and the limit on the axis rotating in the sleeve, are at the base plate (1).
