Zusammenfassung:	The object to be secured is marked at any point with any symbol defined by the owner. The image of the security mark and its location is recorded at a work station together with data about the owner and date of registration, e.g. of a vehicle, and stored in the security system. In case of conflict of ownership, theft etc. the data is recalled from a central server to the relevant work station. An image of the security mark is scanned on the object at the relevant point and compared with the stored image.
