Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device for crushing solid materials like stone, concrete, reinforced concrete or the like, with at least one breaking tool (1, 2) having at least one working surface, at least partly curved, and capable of swinging up and down about a horizontal axis. Such a device must be capable of preventing overloads in normal crushing operation caused by the compression of the material to be crushed in a working gap and nevertheless achieve a high throughput. To this end the curved working surfaces (8) of the crushing tool(s) (1, 2) are of such a shape that the radius of the curved region decreases as a function of the coefficient of friction of the material to be crushed, in a shape following a linear spiral, and compression takes place in the working gap during the downward swing, which does crush the material concerned but not as far as the solid-body density range. |
