Zusammenfassung:The device (5) includes a first projector (4.1) and a second projector (4.2) projecting an image determined for a left eye (AL) and a right eye (AR) of a viewer. An optical arrangement (FL) in the projection path of both projectors concentrates the light from the projectors to the respective eye. A detection unit (12) determines the eye view direction (nl, n2) and the position. A first calculation unit (1), connected to the detection unit, calculates a convergence distance (KE) from the view direction and the eye positions, and a focusing device (14), focusses both the images in the convergence distance. An input is provided for recording an image data record representing a spatial scene, containing the coordinate values (X, Y, Z) and the image information values (L, C), for a number of scene points. A second calculation unit (2) calculates a distance of the individual points to the viewer. A third calculation unit (3) evaluates an image definition value (S) for the image data record points from the difference between the distance value and the convergence distance. An image processing unit (10) calculates the image according to a predetermined perspective and the reduced definition value.
