Zusammenfassung:	A land mine comprises a mine case (11) with an active element (12) capable of being expelled from the mine case (11) in a specified direction; raising legs (16) on the mine case (11), and an acoustically sensitive device for monitoring an area for any sound sources which encroach in it. In order to locate the encroaching sound source, microphones (23) of the monitoring device (22) are divided into a first microphone group allocated to the mine case (11) and a second microphone group allocated to a support unit (24). The support unit (24) can be separated from the mine case (11) and remains connected to it via an electrical cable which can be pulled out on separation. Location of the sound source is effected following separation of the support unit (24) from the mine case (11) by taking cross bearings of both microphone groups.
