Zusammenfassung:	The ball valve has a rotatable ball (7) with a passage channel (13), extending at right angles to its throughflow channel (8). In a second angled position of the rotatable ball, the apertures of the passage channel open into the intake and the outlet of the ball valve housing (1). The passages or throughflow channels are curved or angled, so that they are separated over their full length by the material of the rotatable ball. The housing has a sample extraction aperture (15). In the second angled position of the rotatable ball, one aperture of the throughflow channel opens into the sampling aperture.
