Zusammenfassung: | The HT overhead cable has a carrier of a fibre compound material and a metallic conductor, for clamping between two support pylons. The carrier is structured to take up the mechanical loadings at max. working temp. The conductor wires are given a plastic shaping at the carrier, and can take up the max. tensile strength of their loading portion. Also claimed is a process for laying the overhead cable, where the carrier core is bonded to the conductor material, generally parallel to the carrier. The carrier and conductor are attached to the pylon at one end, and led to the next pylon and tensed before attachment to it. On stretching, the conductor wires take up the load and are given a plastic distortion through elasticity or over-stretch, so that they can absorb tension and wind forces at max. working temps., up to the max. tensile strength level. The carrier is pref. of carbon fibres, synthetic fibres, glass fibres, or silicon carbide or boron fibres. |
