The device can consist of a tapped bush (5) fixed to the pane and in which a set-screw (6) engages. The slide and the frame member are between the screw and the bush, the screw passing through an elongated hole (7) in the slide. There can be a drilling in the screw and in which a locking boss on the slide engages in the shut position.
