Zusammenfassung:	The section (14) of the pipe at the open end (13) is of reduced external diameter, an annular seal (16) being fixed on to it. An integral section (15) of the pipe with larger external diameter joins on to the first section in the axial direction. The union (11) has an inner cylindrical portion (18) covering the inner surface (18b) of the first section, and is joined by an intermediate portion (19) integral with it and covering the pipe endface (13) to an integral outer cylindrical portion (20) of smaller diameter covering the first section (14) of the pipe. Integral larger-diameter portions (21,22) cover the second section (15) of the pipe, and fixing devices for the union to the pipe are included.
