Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The antenna has several rectangular patch radiators (4) arranged as a group above and parallel to a ground plane (2). The ground plane and radiators are in the form of surface metallisation on both sides of a dielectric plate (1). The group of radiators is supplied by a slot radiator (3) formed as an aperture in the ground plane and acting as a primary radiator with the patch radiators as secondary radiators. With the preferred element dimensions, the slot radiator's radiation on the opposite side from the patch radiators is low, or an additional earth and reflection surface can be used. The slot radiator is supplied by a planar microwave line which can be integrated into the ground plane. Each of several groups of patch radiators combined to form an antenna field is supplied by a separate slot radiator supplied by an integral supply network in the ground plane with a common connection or base point.
