Zusammenfassung:	Vaccine for preventing HIV infection and/or treating AIDS contains inactivated HIV particles that are produced by: (a) culturing HIV in a medium contg. the radioactive 32P isotope as P source; (b) isolating HIV particles from the medium while retaining at least 50% of the gp120 antigen; (c) storing the particles (in which the RNA has at least one phosphodiester bond that includes 32P) for > 2 months at -70 degrees C or lower, and opt. (d) formulating the stored particles into a vaccine.
