Zusammenfassung:The transmission system has one or more of the frame synchronisation words (A1,A2) for the STM-1 signals over-written at the beginning of the transmission path, with data containing specific information for the transmission medium pref. the over-written frame synchronisation words are regenerated at the end of the transmission path. The STM-1 frame pref. has a 81 byte section overhead and a 2349 byte administration unit (AU), the section overhead containing 6 frame synchronisation words.
