Zusammenfassung:	The top cover (2) of the drip chamber (13) incorporates a sharp prong (4) which can be inserted into a supply bottle. The cover (2) further incorporates an air inlet with non-return valve in which a filter (11) for bacteria is mounted. The bottom cover of the chamber incorporates a connection (23) for the infusion line. The air inlet (7) is in the form of a non-return ball valve (10). A de-airing channel for the chamber (13), which lies in the top cover, can be opened by a slide valve (15). During the start of the infusion process, the valve connects the inside of the chamber directly to atmosphere, while during the infusion the valve connects the chamber to the air inlet channel in the prong.
