Zusammenfassung:The locking hook (2) of the fifth wheel (1) is secured by a separate lock (20), when in securing position. The lock is fastened to the fifth wheel, and is located in a chamber (17), which is not accessible from outside. The lock is positioned on the underside of the cover plate (12). The lock consists of a tubular body (21), with an axially moveable lock cylinder, and a similarly moveable slide in a guide. The slide is located between a lock-sided end plate and the stop of a spring. The spring is tensioned by the locking stroke of the lock.
