Dough mixer assembly with horizontal contra-rotating concentric mixer blades

The novelty is that an assembly which mixes a mass of inorganic or organic matter such as dough incorporates: (a) a longitudinal housing whose longitudinal axis is roughly horizontal; (b) within which is a roughly horizontal mixer trough (25) whose lower section is of semi-circular cross-section; (c) the upper part of the trough is either open or covered by a lid (6); (d) inner and outer mixer paddles (17, 18) resting on bearings at opposite ends (3, 4) of the trough (25), rotate around the longitudinal axis rotate under power; (e) the trough (25) base has one or more lower discharge points (13) in the vicinity of the trough ends (3, 4); (f) the outer (17) mixer blades push the ingredients in one longitudinal direction while the inner mixer blades (18) push the ingredients in the other, or both sets of mixer blades push the ingredients in the same direction.
