Zusammenfassung:The blower unit (1) contains a d.c. motor and an air compressor directly driven by the motor. The motor is pref. a brushless, electronically commutated (EC) high speed d.c. motor, and the compressor can be a radial fan. The electromagnetically operated shut-off valve(2) is integrally mounted near the pressure connection (7) of the blower unit. The suction and pressure connections are axially parallel. The pressure connection is connected to the air tapping of the radial fan wheel (4) via a connecting channel at about 45 degrees to the blower unit's rotation axis (8).
