Zusammenfassung:	For the computer design of the jack of a sheet metal press, from an initial design an evaluation is made of the jack surface for the first setting of the jack during the first metal shaping stage where at least one knob is pressed against the jack contact surface. A zone is established within the mould recess giving an impermeable metal grid distortion together with identification of the pressed knob. The knob is released, at least at one identified knob, where there is an incorrect metal shaping when the metal reasserts. The initial design is corrected to improve the jack contact surface shape.
