Zusammenfassung:Benzenesulphonylureas for reduction of blood sugar Urea derivs. (where R denotes a lactam ring such as pyrrolidone, N-methylpyrrolidone, piperidone, oxazinone, or hexamethyleneimine-2-one; and R' = lower alkyl, allyl, cyclohexyl, bicycloheptyl, bicycloheptenyl, bicycloheptylmethyl or bicycloheptenylmethyl), are prepared from corresponding 4-substituted benzenesulphonamides and isocyanates RNCO. The products are useful drugs for reducing blood sugar, and are more efficient than simpler, related cpds.
