[Also in Division B8] The elements 7 &c. of a coaxial cable connector are crimped to the conductors of the coaxial cable 29 by tools 27-28 &c. while the elements are still in a sealed package. The cable 29 is inserted through an opening made by peeling or cutting tab portions of the package, and the crimping is carried out through the packaging sheets 14, 15. Figs. 14,15 (not shown), illustrate a plurality of sets of the connector elements packaged on a pair of continuous webs 14, 15 which can be machine handled to feed the elements automatically to, among other tools, the crimping tools (34) &c.
