Rain-proof ventilator system for heated room - has dividing wall with recesses allowing outlet of rain water

The ventilator is mounted in a vertical outside wall of a room, with a heater. It consists of a frame for insertion into the wall, and an external chimney-like cover, in which the warm air from the room mixes with cold air entering through the open lower chimney end, and flows to the upper outlet. The profile of the upper and lower flanks (3, 11) of the frame (1) enclose a channel, which widens in the direction of flow. A dividing wall with upper and lower recess (26, 24) is positioned between the channel and the chimney interior, (2). The outlet aperture (21) for the air mixture is located in the front wall of the cover (2), opposite to the upper recess of the dividing wall.
