The spaces 2, 4 between the tubes 3 are either filled with a liquid coolant or have cryo-vacuum chambers to receive further super-conductors. The corrugated tubes 1, 3 in contact with the coolant could be coated with thin super-conductive layers and with suitable insulation used as additional conductors. The concentric sheath tubes could be produced on site after the internal tubes have been laid.
