[Also in Division C2] Agricultural fungicidal compositions comprise one or more isoxazoles of the formula: wherein R 1 is hydrogen or halogen or a C 1-3 alkyl group, R 2 is hydrogen or a C 1-3 alkyl group and R 3 is a C 1-5 alkoxy group or a C 6-10 aryl group which may be ring-substituted by one or more halogen atoms, C 1-5 alkyl groups, C 1-3 alkoxy groups, nitro groups or methylene dioxy groups, and a carrier or diluent. The compositions may also include known fungicides, e.g. pentachloronitrobenzene, tetramethyl thiuram disulphide, dimethylaminobenzene diazo sodium sulphonate, N- trichloromethylthio-4-cyclohexane-1, 2-dicarboxyimide, trichloro-2-nitropropane and 5- ethoxy-3-trichloromethyl-1, 2, 4-thiadiazole, and known insecticides, e.g. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8- heptachloro-3α-4, 7, 7a-tetrahydro-4, 7-methanoindene, benzenehexachloride, 1, 1, 1-trichloro-2, 2-bis(p-chlorophenyl) ethane, O, O- dimethyl-S-(N-methyl-carbamoylmethyl) phosphorodithioate and O, O-diethyl-S-2-(ethylthio) ethyl phosphorodithioate. The compositions may take the form of liquids, dusts, granules or wettable powders and contain the usual adjuvants.
