Production of materials from coal graphite

Coal graphite useful in foundries to smelt steels and alloys, as well as in the chemical industry, etc., is produced as a homogeneous mass by heat-treating the moulding powder used as a starting material at a temp. approximating the zero ductile temp. of the binding agent prior to compression.
