Radial tyre disking drum

Drum for dishing tyre carcasses with two axially movable discs, has between the discs equal number of radially movable single or multiple component segments, arranged alternately concentrically with the drum shaft, which in the dishing device forms the inner shape of the tyre blank. The radial movement of the latter in the receiving position is forcibly controlled by advancing the single component and retarding the multi-component segments, to ensure that in the receiving position in which the segments are drawn in between the separated discs towards the drum shaft, the multi-component segments lie above the single component segments.
