Zusammenfassung: | 1,246,561. Rotary conveyers. MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO K.K. 3 Feb., 1969 [2 Feb., 1968], No. 5767/69. Heading B8A. [Also in Division G1] In photo-electric bottle inspection and sorting apparatus, bottles 1 on an endless conveyer C, Fig. 7, are spaced by a screw 39 and transferred by star wheel 40 to a turret where they are gripped top and bottom by supports 2, 3, Fig. 4, connected to concentric shafts 17, 16 arranged around a guide rod 15 and co-operating with cam slots 21, 20 to raise and lower the bottle as the turret rotates. The splined end of shaft 29 engages a pulley 31 which co-operates with a moving band 52 to rotate the bottles about their axes as the turret is rotating. The band 52 is driven through a differential gear to keep the rotational speed of the bottles constant regardless of the instantaneous speed of the turret. After inspection, acceptable bottles are returned to conveyer C by a star wheel 43. |
