Zusammenfassung:	A pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising a copolymer of (a) 0.5-20 wt.% of N-(1,1-dimethyl-3-oxobutyl) substd. unsatd. carboxylic amide and (b) 99.5-80 wt.% of alpha-olefinic monomer. Preferably (a) is above substd. (meth)acrylamide and is present 1-10 wt.% of copolymer. The copolymer above may include 1-20C pref. 4-12C alkyl ester of acrylic acid in amts. >35 wt.% of copolymer or vinyl ester esp. vinyl acetate in amts. 10-60 wt.% of the total wt. of copolymer. The adhesive has high cohesive strength and improved strength retention.
