An electro-mechanical oscillatory system particularly for a timepiece comprises an oscillatory member e.g. a balance, restrained by a spring 8, a permanent magnet or permanent magnets, e.g. magnets 1 and 9, co-operating with control and drive coils 2, 10 in an electronic circuit, (not shown) and means for adjusting the position of the control coil 2 relatively to the magnet 1 with which it co-operates along lines of magnetic flux from the latter. The control coil 2 is carried by a frame 3 adjustable about a pivot 11 by rotation of a screw 4 to which is secured an accentric pin 5 mounted in fixed bearings.
