Zusammenfassung:1,166,664. Polyethylene compositions. POLITECHNIKA WARSZAWSKA. 7 Oct., 1966 [7 Oct., 1965], No. 44982/66. Heading C3P. Anti-corrosive hot-dip strippable coatings may be formed from compositions comprising polyethylene and an ester or polyester of a dicarboxylic acid as plasticizer in a weight ratio of polyethylene to ester of 1:19 to 1:1. The compositions may also contain waxes, ceresin, antioxidants, fatty acid salts, corrosion inhibitors, natural and synthetic polymers, resins, stabilizers, dyes, fillers and pigments. The compositions may be formed by mixing some of the components or parts of the components at a higher temperature and adding the remaining components or parts of components at below 80‹ C. An example describes a mixture of polyethylene and octyl phthalate.
