Zusammenfassung:	Variable contrast printing paper is exposed to light passing through a negative in two extreme colors for a total exposure time which is selected as a function of the maximum or minimum density of the negative by talking into consideration the sensitivity of printing paper. The ratio of exposures to light in the two extreme colors within the total exposure time is selected as a function of the density range, maximum density or minimum density of the negative by way of a calibration curve which is determined for the particular charge of printing material.
