An extrudable mixture comprises two compatible polymers or polymer mixtures having a difference of from 0.5 to 1.2 in fluidity degree. The polymers may be polymethylmethacrylates, copolymers of polymethylmethacrylate with styrene, a -methyl styrene, an acrylic ester, a methacrylic ester, acrylonitrile or a vinyl ester or a polymethylmethacrylate cross-linked with, e.g. glycoldimethacrylate; polystyrenes and copolymers of styrene; or a mixture of polymethylmethacrylate and polyvinylchloride or an ABS resin. The constituents of the mixture are mixed in dry, solid form, or as a suspension of pellets which is subsequently dried. Plasticizers, lubricants, antioxidants and U.V. adsorbents may be included, e.g. stearic acid, hydroxyphenol, benzotriazole, trichloroethyl-(phosphate, tin, alkylmercaptide, 4,41-thiobis 6-tert.-butyl meta-cresol), waxes, fatty acid esters and dyestuffs.
