Zusammenfassung:	A flame-resistant, heat-curable polyolefin composition comprises a polyolefin, a chlorinated polyolefin and a peroxide curing agent containing e.g. di-(alpha-cumyl) peroxide or 2,5-dimethyl-2,5 - di - (t - butyl - peroxy) hexane or hexyne-3. Optional ingredients are fillers (clay, aluminium oleate coated clay or carbon black), stabilizers (lead, magnesium or zinc oxide or a polymerized trimethyl-di-hydroquinoline), and other conventional additives such as antimony oxide, calcium stearate or maleic anhydride. The products find application as cable insulation.
