[Also in Division F2] Guide bearings for a poker bar C of a ring frame each comprise (see Fig. 3) a circular portion A and circumferentially spaced, inwardly projecting bearing segments E defining passages D therebetween, the segments being constructed of a yielding synthetic polymeric material having a relatively low coefficient of friction (e.g. the substance known by the Trade Mark Teflon); preferably the whole of the bearing is of this material. As shown the bearings are mounted by screws 26 on flanges 11a, 11b of the spindle rail 11 which is mounted to be vertically adjustable on the frame 12. In an alternative form the segments E have greater length and outwardly directed flanges at their lower ends so that the segments may pass through the orifices 28, and snap into engagement with the lower surfaces of the spindle rail flanges 11a, 11b.
