Verfahren zur Herstellung von Palladiumdiacetat

The invention comprises solid, crystalline palladium diacetate and adducts thereof with benzene and amino compounds. The crystalline diacetate is prepared by treating an aqueous solution of soluble palladium salt with an alkali at below 85 DEG C. to precipitate hydrous palladium oxide, separating, partially drying and treating with glacial acetic at a temperature below 85 DEG C. to form palladium diacetate which is then separated. Crystalline adducts are formed with pyridine aniline and benzylamine and noncrystalline adducts with quinoline, 2-aminopyrimidine and benzidine. Palladium salts used as starting materials in the examples are palladium chloride, sodium tetrachloropalladate and palladium nitrate.
