Zusammenfassung:1,63,607. Optical slide projectors. AGFA-GEVAERT A. G. Feb.17, 1966 [Feb.26, 1965], No.7014/66. Heading G2J. In a manually or motor-driven slide projector having the slide magazine 32 mounted externally of housing 1 on a retractable guide 31, slides 33 are lifted up to the level of the projection position and then transported laterally into said position by a parallelogram linkage comprising levers 6 and 7 and pivot points 4, 5, 8a and 8b which acts on slide claw 8. Slide lifter 13 has a control pin 14 spring-urged against cam disc 10, rotatable on spindle 9, and lifts the slide to the level of slide guide (17a), as in Fig. 2 (not shown), of the pivoted lever 17. Claw 8 then carries the slide on to guide (17a) up to stop (17d) beneath spring- loaded guide bar (26), as control pin 11 on cam disc (10) acts on slot cams (12a, 12b) in the lever (6). Spindle 9, Fig. 1, is rotated in the reverse direction to return slide 33 to the magazine by means of the projection 8d of claw 8. Magazine indexing. Disc (19) Fig. 2 (not shown) fixed on spindle 9 has radial cam face (19b) and axial cam face (19c) which are engaged by the spring-loaded lever (21) whose claw (21b) is driven to engage and index perforated bar (25) of the magazine. Spindles 4, 5, and 9, Fig. 1, and the pivot 16 are mounted on a plate 3 having a projection aperture 3a. In an embodiment, as in Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown), levers (6) and (7) are held in a parallelogram linkage by link (35), and the claw member is in two parts (36, 37) engaging each other through toothed sectors (36a, 37a).
