Zusammenfassung: | Carbonyl fluoride is formed as a by-product when a halo-olefin of the formula CF2 = CFX wherein X is H, F, Cl, CF3, CF2H, CF2Cl, C2F5, CF2CF2H or CF = CF2, is heated with oxygen at superatmospheric pressures in the presence of an inert solvent at a temperature of from 50 DEG to 200 DEG C.ALSO:Epoxides of the general formula wherein X is H, F, Cl, CF3, CF2H, CF2Cl, C2F5, CF2CF2H or CF2COF, are prepare by CF2 = CFX, wherein X is H, F, Cl, CF3, CF2H, CF2Cl, C2F5, CF2CF2H or CF = CF2, with oxygen at superatmospheric pressure in the presence of an inert solvent at a temperature of from 50 DEG to 200 DEG C. The invention also comprises the compounds and Perfluorocyclopropane or derivatives thereof are formed as by-products, probably by the reaction sequence. Examples are given. |
