Zusammenfassung: | The invention comprises dyestuffs of the formula wherein R is phenyl or substituted phenyl not containing a water-solubilizing group or a -C6H4NHC6H5 group and R1 is alkyl o 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atom, b -bromoethyl or cyclohexyl. The dyes are made by reacting 1-amino-2:4-dibromoanthraquinone with a compound R1SO2NH2 to replace the 4-bromine atom and then with a phenol ROH or its salt to replace the 2-bromine atom or 2-sulpho radical, or by reacting a 1:4-diaminoanthraquinone containing an -OR group in 2-position with a halide of the formula R1SO2X where X is chlorine or bromine. The dyes dye polyester fibres in red shades.ALSO:In an example (11) b -ethoxyethanesulphonamide is made by reacting gaseous ammonia with b -ethoxyethane sulphonyl chloride prepared by treating with phosphorus pentachloride the reaction product of 2-bromoethyl ethyl ether and sodium sulphite. |
