Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1,066,318. Thermographic copy sheets. KONISHIROKU PHOTO INDUSTRY CO. Ltd. Oct. 16, 1963 [Oct. 16, 1962; Sept. 18, 1963] No.40902/63. Heading G2C. A thermographic copying material comprises a support and coated thereon a heat-sensitive layer comprising (1) a finely powdered dye (2) a finely-powdered light-scattering substance, and, either the dye being fusible and having a melting point between 50‹ and 180 ‹C., or, when the light scattering substance is fusible and has a melting point between 50‹ and 180‹C. the dye being soluble in the fused light-scattering substance, with the proviso that when neither the dye nor the light-scattering substance is fusible the said layer also comprises (3) a fusible organic material, having a melting point between 50 ‹ and 180‹C., the dye being soluble in the said organic material when the latter is fused, dispersed in a film-forming thermoplastic polymeric binder in which the components (1) and (2), and (3) if present are insoluble. The light-scatterer masks unexposed dye and if infusible absorbs fused material. Many dyes are listed. Infusible components (2) are TiO2, SiO2, ZnO, ZnS, white lead, BaSO4, BaCO3, and CasO4. Fusible components (2) are cinnamic acid, adipic acid, acetanilide and urea. Components (3) are paraffin hydrosols, diphenyl, naphthalene, maleic anhydride, stearic acid, succinic anhydride, benzoic acid, phthalic anhydride, cinnamic acid, adipic acid, acetanilide, benzamide, urea, diphenyl guanidine, ptoluene sulphonamide and acetyl salicyclic acid. Specified binders are gelatine, gum arabic, carboxy methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose polyvinyl-alcohol, - butyral and carbazole, polyketones, styrene -butadiene copolymers and rubbers.
