Verfahren zur Herstellung von heterocyclisch substituierten Morphinanen und deren Salzen

The invention comprises compounds of the general formula: (wherein R represents a 5- or 6- membered unsaturated heterocyclic ring, which may contain one or more alkyl substituents) and their acid addition salts, and the preparation thereof by reacting 3-hydroxymorphinane (racemic or optically active) with a compound of the general formula R-CH=CH2, or with an acylating agent containing the group R-CH2CO- followed by reduction of the resulting amide with an alkali metal aluminium hydride, and in either case, if desired, converting the product into an acid addition salt. The products are useful as antitussives, and the laevo-rotatory isomers also as analgesics.
