The invention relates to a monolithic component, in particular as a device or for a device for separating constituents from a fluid. The monolithic component comprises a carrier fluid inlet and a carrier fluid discharge, a monolithic structure which is arranged between the carrier fluid inlet and the carrier fluid discharge and which is designed to be permeable at least in some parts or regions in any case, and an opening collector which is arranged between the carrier fluid discharge and the permeable structure, wherein the opening collector is integrally formed together with the carrier fluid discharge and the permeable structure, and the permeable structure is designed and arranged so as to separate an enveloping face from a carrier face in a permeable manner at least in some parts and/or at least in some regions. A carrier fluid can be provided on the carrier face, said carrier fluid being capable of flowing from the carrier fluid inlet to the carrier fluid discharge through the carrier face of the permeable structure. The permeable structure is designed to ensure a material transfer of the carrier fluid by means of the enveloping face, in particular a transfer of the carrier fluid into an enveloping fluid and/or from an enveloping fluid into the carrier fluid.
