Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a brake lining for a disc brake assembly, comprising a brake lining support plate (2) and a friction lining (3) which is arranged on the brake lining support plate. The brake lining support plate is equipped with a channel wall (4) which partly or completely surrounds the friction lining, wherein a collection channel (5) for brake dust is formed between the channel wall and the friction lining, and the collection channel opens into an outlet opening (7) in order to discharge the brake dust out of the collection channel. The outlet opening lies in an outlet connector (6) which adjoins the channel wall (4) and protrudes beyond the peripheral edge of the brake lining support plate.
