Aufspulmaschine

A winding machine for winding up a plurality of threads to form a plurality of packages, having at least one winding spindle (3.1, 3.2), is described. Arranged along the projecting winding spindle (3.1, 3.2) are a plurality of winding positions (2), which each have a traversing unit (6) for guiding the threads back and forth. The traversing units (6) are assigned a contact pressure roller (10), held parallel to the winding spindle (3.1, 3.2), for laying the threads on the circumference of the packages. The traversing units (6) and the contact pressure roller (10) are arranged in a machine frame (1), wherein the machine frame (1) is assigned a damping device (13) having a plurality of spring-damper elements (13.1, 13.2). In order for it to be possible to wind up the threads in as large a speed range of the winding spindle as possible, at least one of the spring-damper elements (13.1, 13.2) is embodied to be selectively activatable or deactivatable by a switch means (14). In this way, the damping and the stiffness of the machine frame (1) can be changed at any desired times, preferably depending on a rotational frequency.
