Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a noise generating device (20) for a vehicle exhaust system in a motor vehicle having a housing (22) and a noise generator arranged inside the housing (22). The housing (22) has an upper part (26), a lower part (28) and a plug connection (46) for at least one control cable for the noise generator, wherein the plug connection (46) is disposed between the upper part (26) and the lower part (28). The invention further describes a vehicle exhaust system and a method for producing a noise generating device.
