Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a ventilation system for kitchens which has a ventilation module (2) which represents a fume hood fan (22), and at least one additional ventilation module (2). The ventilation system is characterized in that each ventilation module (2) has a control module (1) which has at least one external bus interface (X1, X2) at least for producing a bus communication connection having at least one control module (1) of at least one other ventilation module (2) of the ventilation system (3). The invention further relates to a method for controlling such a ventilation system (3).
