Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a photoreactive polymer having primary or secondary amine groups, in which polymer at least a portion of the amine groups are modified with a photoreactive benzophenone group, preferably amidated with 4-carboxy benzophenone. The invention also relates to: a method for producing wet-strength paper products by applying the photoreactive polymer according to the invention in or on the base paper, drying the treated base paper web, and exposing the dried paper web to UV light; and a wet-strength paper product comprising cellulose fibres cross-linked using a photoreactive polymer according to the invention.
