Compositions containing aminobenzoic acid derivative with unsubstituted amino group(s) and perchlorate are used for stabilizing halogenated organic plastics, especially PVC, against thermal and/or photochemical degradation

In the use of compositions containing (a) aminobenzoic acid derivative (I) and (b) perchlorate for stabilizing halogenated organic plastics against thermal and/or photochemical degradation, (I) is an aminobenzoic acid, salt or ester ring-substituted by at least one unsubstituted amino group. In the use of compositions containing (a) aminobenzoic acid derivative (I) and (b) perchlorate for stabilizing halogenated organic plastics against thermal and/or photochemical degradation, (I) has the following formula: X : H, Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Al, Ti or a Y group; R 1>-R 5>NH 2 in at least one case, otherwise Z, -NHY, -NY 2 or H; Y : saturated or olefinically unsaturated, linear or branched 1-22 C alkyl or an aryl group with a total of at most 18 C, which may have 1-5 C alkyl, OH or carboxyl substituent(s); Z : Y, -OY, -COOY, -C(=O)Y, Cl, Br or OH. Zusammensetzungen, enthaltend (a) Aminobenzoesäurederivate und (b) Perchlorate, eignen sich zur Stabilisierung von halogenhaltigen organischen Kunststoffen gegen thermischen und/oder photochemischen Abbau. Dabei gilt die Maßgabe, daß die Aminobenzoesäurederivate (a) die Formel (I) aufweisen DOLLAR F1 worin DOLLAR A È X Wasserstoff, Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Al, Ti oder eine Gruppe Y und DOLLAR A È die Reste R·1· bis R·5· unabhängig voneinander Z, -NH¶2¶, -NHY, -NY¶2¶ oder H bedeuten DOLLAR A mit der Maßgabe, daß DOLLAR A È Y eine gesättigte oder olefinisch ungesättigte, geradkettige oder verzweigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 22 C-Atomen oder ein Arylrest mit insgesamt höchstens 18 C-Atomen, der gegebenenfalls mit ein oder mehreren C¶1-5¶-Alkylresten, Hydroxylgruppen oder Carboxylgruppen substituiert sein kann, ist, DOLLAR A È Z die Bedeutung Y, -OY, -COOY, -C(=O)Y, Cl, Br oder OH hat und DOLLAR A È mindestens einer der Reste R·1· bis R·5· -NH¶2¶ bedeutet.
