Zusammenfassung: | In a refrigeration plant with an absorption circuit in which absorption fluid is pumped between an absorber (in which water vapor is taken up) and a separator (in which water is driven off as vapor) and a collector for vapor for condensation, the coolant fluid is an aqueous solution located in an evaporator (14), connected with the vapor space of the absorber (6) and fed with condensate from the collector (11). The separator (3) is associated with a mechanical condensate compression pump. A condensation coil (10) immersed in absorption fluid is connected at the inlet end with the pressure outlet of the compression pump and at the outlet end with the collector. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for operating the refrigeration plant, in which the coolant is mixed with at least one salt selected from alkali(ne earth) metal halides, formates, acetates, perchlorates and sulfates or at least one material selected from polyols, polyethylene oxide and polyethers; and (2) a method for operating a variant of the refrigeration plant, including a further adsorption circuit in which aqueous absorption fluid is pumped between an absorber and separator, where the absorption fluid in the additional circuit contains a freezing point reducing additive. |
